| AUCTION INFORMATION |
Our live auction returns this year. All donations should have a retail value of at least $20. We continue with our love of surprises and ask that you gift wrap your item. The surprise is revealed when the winning bidder opens her gift. Exceptions to this are expensive items that need to be seen first-hand to understand the value. (In the past we have had stained glass items, quilts, etc, which represent many hours of work and are worth more than the cost of materials.)
And Now For Something Completely Different! *
New this year: “Basket Raffle”
The possibilities are endless as you assemble a ‘theme" basket for bid. Theme possibilities can include baskets such as “Picnic” with a blanket, wrapped cheese, fabric napkins, small plates, nice crackers, plastic flutes, non-alcoholic champagne, etc.
Put together gift baskets using the creativity that all Girl Scout adults have (Otherwise we wouldn’t have survived our first camping trip!) Bring them, nicely wrapped, to the dining hall when you arrive. All raffle items or baskets should be worth $20.00 (minimum) or be handmade.
Tickets will be available for purchase at $1 each or 6 for $5. You decide how many tickets you will place in front of each item in an effort to win. Winners will be chosen after dinner on Saturday evening. You do not need to be present to win!
Auction proceeds go towards improvements for Camp Wabasso in appreciation of GSEM’s (particularly the Outdoor Program Dept’s) support of this event.
*No silent auction this year. Yes, we stole that line from Month Python. I’m sure they won’t care.
